General Woman's Home and Overseas Missionary Society
The General Woman’s Home and Overseas Missionary Society meet in general
session once every four years. This general meeting is known as the Quadrennial Convention.
The Society is the Parent Head of all District and Local Missionary Societies. The purpose
of the society is to promote the cause for World Evangelism.
The local society is to (a) unite the women of our church for world-wide service;
(b) assist the Pastor in Charge with the spiritual and temporal work of the Church; and
(c) to develop leadership for missionary work. There are various categories of the society
